My Upper Abdominal Pain - New Discovery

As some of you may know that I am experiencing unbearable upper abdominal pain from the last nearly 9 months with no diagnosis whatsoever, those who are interested can read the numerous threads that I made about my pain. Basically it suddenly started after harsh antibiotics use but I kept on going bearing the pain and completed the course but this pain never left. It is aggravated or touched by movement, it feels like getting punched in your stomach and I cant do any physical work because it aggravates pain. I cant breath when I wake up because of this. I was eating so little that I lost a lot of weight.

Few days ago discovered something new about my pain. I took the courage to find the source of pain since physical movements like walking etc touches pain and feels like you got kicked in upper stomach. I started pressing and exploring the area below my rib, bear in mind although its really painful and I can feel the abdominal muscles spasm but I feel the pain in stomach and there is no surface pain. So I found something like a vein or nerve I dont know its just behind ribcage and can only be accessed when bending. I pressed on it and it felt like a vein which also connects to my back it reproduced my pain and felt like this vein or nerve is sore and tired and very painful. Does anyone have any idea what it could be or is it even the source of pain or just veins and muscles that got tired because of me having this pain. To me it certainly feels like the source sonce I believe its the same thing which aggravates my pain when doing any physical activity. Bear in mind although pain felt like a sore painful vein but I experience a lot of pain in my stomach maybe because of this vein/nerve eveything goes into spasm but again I dont have surface or skin pain.

Pain never felt muscular and always was in my stomach and exactly like getting punched or kicked in upper stomach. I did experience crampy pain when pressing on upper stomach but never found the source now I believe the source was the vein/nerve I discovered. Another thing is although entire upper abdomen (mostly left and strenum) is into spasm and really painful and crampy like you feel when you get punched but sleeping on side effects the pain focus for example if I sleep on right the pain on left side aggravates next morning if I sleep on left pain focus changes to middle although whole upper abdomen is painful but focus changes with sleep pattern.

Vagus nerve?! Lot of nerves in your spine and back. They can be excruciating. I know I’m a chronic pain sufferer trying to get my own set of a diagnosis. I think I may go insane while I’m suppose to go from specialist to specialist to figure it out!  I don’t make a lot of appointments because I’m too sick from the pain. I wish they could just admit me in the hospital, get pain under control and figure out what is going on. I know gabapentin for 5 years at high dose is part of my unseen problem but it’s not all of the problems I’m having. Good luck and prayers with you

I actually wait months for appointments and then miss them as I’m too sick to drive or go with anyone!  Keep hearing you have to make your appointments!  Easier said than done

Are you suffering from stomach pain because of gabapentin? Why you took gabapentin in the first place?

Are you diagnosed with abdominal nerve damage? If yes, how was the diagnosis made through ultrasound, ct or mri? And how does your abdominal nerve damage pain feels like?
