My vision can’t seem to focus

Ive recently noticed this a week ago and its been on and off. And is starting to worry me because it seems to be getting slightly worse. I cant seem to focus too well and I feel light headed as if im not mentally there only physically. my vision is blurred and sometimes sort of dizzy or as I said before out of focus. also this happens randomly and sometimes I feel normal then all of a sudden it happens. And I am 17 years old just note and ive been having some headaches and pains in my head for about 6 months. I went to get a CAT scan 3 to 4 months ago and all seemed normal. If someone could help that would be great because I dont know what to do.

john, have you had your eyes tested? you may just need glasses. If not then please see an optician.

Secondly, do you spend a lot of time on screens? phone/laptop etc with few breaks and before you sleep. If so this may be the cause and you need to cut down ,especially just before sleep.

Thirdly, I see you are 17. Are you stressing about exams, maybe under pressure to do well, or just something in your life you are trying to resolve? Stress can cause headaches and pains in the head.

Have you had a blood test.......are you anaemic? ie low in iron or maybe blood sugar? Worth checking.

Do you have regular meals or do you just snack or even skip meals?

Had a blood test 7 months ago and was normal but I had no vision problems then. I normally have regular normal meals so I dont think this a problem.

Just wonder if you are beginning to have migraine attacks. Maybe discuss the possibility with your doctor? Does anyone in your family suffer with migraines?
