I'd start with not hitting yourself in the head. nothing good comes from punching yourself. but as far as the vision stuff I've been having it as well pretty similar to what you're going through. I have no idea what's causing it I've been to an optometrist and ophthalmologist and I've also been to to neurologist. I've had brain and spine MRI with contrast also had a spinal tap and EEG. I have no answers. But I live in the hillbilly s******* state of Maine and our medical personnel usually are Dumber then our trash pickup men. I've met a guy at a bottle redemption that counted bottles all day that made my neurologist look like a three year old. I am going to the University of Utah on the 19th for an appointment with a neuro ophthalmologist and I'm sure they will figure it out. I'll let you know what happens since our issues sound kind of similar besides the fact that I don't usually punch myself in the head. Again stop punching yourself that's not cool. Good luck boss

Eyesight can deteriorate at any time of your life, and over a short span of time and you need to see an optician for an eye test.   It doesnt mean you have anything sinister. its just natural ageing.....we all experience it and it can happen at any age.

If you think those 3 things are contributing to the problem, then stop the first two and cut back on looking at your PC.

It could just be too much time spent on your computer but blurred vision and sight problems is one of the symptoms of diabetes so perhaps you could have a free finger prick test done at a pharmacy.  When I was diagnosed in 1995 I needed glasses for driving but reading was OK, as soon as my blood sugar levels came down my eyesight changed to needing glasses for reading and none for driving. I didn't associate the eye problems with diabetes at first, the only symptom I had was a raging thirst for a few days before diagnosis.  You may not have diabetes of course but it might be worth having a simple blood test just to rule it out.
