My wife suffered chest pains after a car accident

She was in a low speed car accident (I wasn't there and didn't know about until afterwoods). She was a passenger carrying my son. He suffered little but she, not wearing a seatbelt, got whacked in the chest. She didn't seek medical care. Now its painful when she coughs, lies on her back or carries items (I carry as much as I can). What can a specialist do for her anyway (can't see one until Friday at the earliest- its public holidays here)?   She is breastfeeding.
