My wife wakes up feeling like she’s dying.

I am posting here for my wife, we've been together for about 4 months now, and I am trying to figure some health issues out for her.

So apparently for the last 10 years, she's been waking up every morning feeling horrible. She is exhausted, her body aches, she has horrible headaches. And all of this is much worse if she takes napes, if she takes a nap, most of the time she wakes up in so much pain that she just lays there sobbing (she doesnt take naps very often).

She is 28, she is fairly healthy in all other regards, she eats health and is fairly active.

She has been to multiple doctors to try and find out what is wrong, but no one has been able to help her at all. About 5 years ago she just gave up with trying to figure it out, and decided to just live with it.

Does anyone have suggestions?

    Hi

She should go to the doctor with all her facts that she has been having over the years

and ask for a scan, they may do other tests first but at least she will have been taken notice of.

If they still insist that they cannot find anything she should tell them that she wants a scan and to put her on the waiting list should they have one.

Every week she should ask where she is on the waiting list it will let the doctors know that she hasn't forgotten

    and wants answers.

    I hope that helps.

    Gee, that sounds really awful.

Sounds like some sort of sleep apnoea or a deeper problem. Has none of the Doctors referred her to a sleep specialist? It could even be a deep psychological trauma relating to sleep or being awoken from sleep.

I really hope she gets the right help. It does sound unusual.

I think she should get an MRT and perhaps see a neurologist.

Has she been through some traumatic experience?
