Myc blood ount re anemia has dropped to 8 from 10 a few months ago. Anyone dealing with this

    Hi,

    My iron levels were 7.4 last time I got checked. I have been anaemic for many years. I am on iron tablets right now and have been feeling better. Noticed an improvement after about 5 days of taking them. Don't know what has caused my anaemia but am due to have another blood test soon. My main symptoms toms was shortness of breath, lightheadedness, slightly fast resting heartbeat and feeling exhausted.

    Do you take any iron tablets? What symptoms do you have? Do you know your serum ferritin level as I think that is your iron storage. It should be between 13-150ug/L, mine was 5 which is low.
