Mysterious Award in a Fortnight......

Posted , 7 users are following.

Dr. G put my diazepam down to 22 mg today and said I was going to get some sort of prize in a fortnight when I go down to 20 mg - but he won't tell me what it is.

I hope it's a case of malt loaves.

I have regained control of the sleeping pills (by not buying any more) although today I had every intention of buying LOADS online tomorrow I've changed my mind. I can hardly accept an award for good progress in tapering off diazepam if I've got 120 zopiclone hidden in my handbag.........

No, I will control myself and NOT sneak off to the internet caff tomorrow. There has to be a good ending to this.

I will be sixty on Tuesday - it is time to behave like an adult.

Three-Can-Jim is still refusing to see the doctor but I have a cunning plan. He's been moaning about tinnitus and getting deaf so I'm going to make him an appointment for that and pretend that he'd forgotten about it. It might work...........

Yes, but many of them are concerned with malt loaf still. Don't tell Missy.

Actually, McJim hasn't got a very good memory anyway, so I'll make the appointment for early in the day and then say, Come on, doctor's for your ears! And he'll look puzzled, and I'll say, Oh Jim, I reminded you three days ago........and hopefully he'll just come with me.

Tess! LOL..make him an appointment and pretend he forgot....LOL.

I love that your Dr...has given you something to look forward too...that is so cool.

And turning 60? Well, Happy Birthday in case I forget.

One of my problems is memory problems...

Jim has memory problems, too. Thanks to drinking 8 cans yesterday he's asked me six timess what we're having for dinner tonight. (malt loaf, of course.)

I told him yesterday that I've made him an appointment to have his ears checked - he keeps going on about tinnitus and slight deafness - but I know he won't remember when i say OKAY ARE YOU READY? YOUR DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR EARS IS IN HALF AN HOUR.

Needless to say I will use the opportunity to get more blood tests arranged, different medication for his diabetes and another appointment with the liver specialist. Oh, and get his ears looked at - but I know they need to be syringed............

I made the appointment early in the morning so he doesn't have a chance to get drunk before we go.

      Hope you're ok, Misssy.

I'm STILL wondering what I'm going to get at the clinic - probably some sort of certificate? Yeah, I'm really going to hang that on my wall.........
