I've been trying not to scratch them today but yesterday I was scratching a lot. the photos were taken today. I'm guessing it's spread to my ear from scratching and then touching my ear because it's a spot on my ear that I touch idly throughout the day. It's driving me crazy too! Any idea what it could be?

I saw a dermatologist last friday and she said her guess is contact dermatitis but she took two biopsies from me, one from abdomen and one from back thigh. I go back next friday for the results. She said it could be contact or medicine related but hopefully biopsy would say more. I don't feel its medicine related because I'm only on Lisinopril for blood pressure and take OTC Krill Oil 1000mg, and use Breo Ellipta inhaler and Ventolin inhaler for my asthma. I've been off them since last saturday and nothing is even remotely better. I've tried oatmeal bath soaks. Worked great at first calm the itch, but after 3rd day soak, back to itching. A friend gave me a teaspoon of her CBD oil to try out on a small patch to see how it does. I'm putting it on my side about a 3 inch area. Applied last night and again this morning...and have to say, there is no itching in that area so far. Still see the rash, but no itch. Will put this on there 3x a day and see how it does. I'll report back. I'll try to post pics of my rash.

Rashes can be so difficult to manage, but just wondering if you have tried

a] washing the areas with a dandruff shampoo......especially one with selenium sulphide as the active ingredient........if it makes it worse,or doesnt help, then discontinue

b] taking an anti histamine tablet, one per day.If this is a contact rash it just may need a kick start to start healing.Again,if it doesnt help, then discontinue.
