Mystery hand problems ruining my life.

Hi, I'm a lead guitarist and I'm going off my head with having a left hand that I can barely use for anything. It started two years ago. I'd slept with my arm bent with my hand under my face. I woke up with a heaviness in my arm and weakness, lack of control in my hand. It was mainly my little finger after a while. After a few weeks I was sent to see a physio and given exercises. That didn't work. The little finger was burning and aching down the side of my hand. I then developed a trigger in the little finger. In December 2016 I stumbled in my bedroom and put my hand on the wall to stop myself. After that my whole hand feel stiff, weak, lack of control. I just about managed to do one performance though when I played a song at a music evening. About a month later the whole hand swelled up and I couldn't bend it. The pain was terrible. It went down a little bit a few days after but since then (end of Dec, begining of Jan) my whole hand has been swollen.

There is a lump in between the third and forth knuckles which is restricting movement on bending. There are lumps on the palm side too.

The areas just after the nail and before the knuckle are swollen and feel scalded. The pain is like a sprained hand with a scald on the top. Stinging burning, swollen, stiff, numbness in third and forth fingers. The fingers are wrinkled on the left hand all the time. Both arms feel like I've dried myself with sandpaper after I shower.

The index finger on the right hand is starting to itch and get swollen now too.

I know the tendons are bad in the little finger causing the trigger. I know I've hurt the nerve in my left elbow from sleeping on it and it's causing numbness in the third and forth. I don't know why the whole hand is burning, stiff and swollen. I don't know why there are lumps on my palm.

My life is guitar playing. It's who I am and has been since I was about 6 years old. I can't even use a knife a fork now. I'm in mental turmoil and the drs I've seen don't know what it is.

    See a hand specialist. Thru treatment surgery and PT YOU CAN GET YOUR HAND BACK . YOULL NEED TO TAKE CARE AND NOT OVER DUE UNILHEALINGBTAKES PALCE. ALSOASK YOUR DOC ABOUT DUPUYTRENS.

    opps not yelling just forgot to take off capital setting. Sorry.

    i hope you can get your fingers and hand resolved soon. Sometimes it's just doing things differently for awhile. 

    i have arthritis and Dupuytrens diseases and wear a glove splint every night called fixxglove. See online may help you ask your doc.

    Wow after looking at the pics it sure looks like Dupuytrens node in your palms too. That's what starts the fingers to change direction even contract. See a Dupuytrens specialist soon.
