Mystery infection, any thoughts?

3 weeks ago i had unprotected sex, about 4 days later i started to see little spots developing all over my nob that eventually turned in a rash that was pretty painful. i thought it was herpes so had a swab test and got on valtrex. That rash and spots eventually went away after about 5 days. that swab test came back negative for herpes but my lymph node on my neck is was swollen and still is. about 10 days later it flared up again worse, got swab and blood tested again no herpes, no fungal but a few bateria. Went on antibiotics, didnt really help. its been 4 days since my 2nd flare up and my right lymph node in my neck is still swollen and i still feel a sensation in my groin lymph! I would be convinced it just some random fungal if not for the permenant swollen neck lymph and continued sensation in my groin lymphs. Any thoughts?

dosnt look like herpes bug more like a skin problem like u said yeast is a common cause of skin irritation if you are not already just use warm water to wash with swollen lymph nodes are not only just associated with herpes they are associated with other infections aswel like if u had a skin infection on the penis them the lympth nodes in the groin would be sore etc same goes for the throat lympth nodes get sore near sites of infection and it could be any infection not just herpes

if you have swollen lymph nodes in your neck then you should have your throat looked at by a doctor as if u get yeast on the penisit can go all the way up to your mouth

okay so if it was herpes genital, its unlikely that virus would travel up to my neck and inflame my lymph node there? or is that possible

not likely no lymph nodes get inflamed near sites of infection i have hsv1 on my mouth and my lymph nodes never get inflamed sore throats etc can cause swollen glands in the neck
