Narrow pulse pressure

A little about my background : I'm a 30 year old female with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. I've recently lost 50 pounds (still have 40 more to lose). I've came off my insulin and control my sugar with diet, exercise, and I take Jauvia. I control my blood pressure with lisinopril, 5mg a day. It's usually always within normal range, on average around 110-115 over 65-70.

I woke up this morning to take my blood pressure reading and was a little shocked. I had normal numbers, but the pulse pressure was extremely low. It was 98/78. I took it again a few minutes later and it was 102/79.

I do need to point out that I started my menstrual cycle a few days ago. I have PCOS and menorrhagia. So my cycles are a little longer than normal and I bleed a lot. To the point I feel dizzy upon standing. And I'm definitely feeling those symptoms at this time.

Is there any correlation and/or should I be concerned? My primary physician is out of town and I'd rather wait to see her if I can.

Thanks.

10% of normal or close for my husband who has a major heart condition is in normal range, but I do notice if he has not had enough to drink his blood pressure falls, sometimes quiet a lot.

Have even had our GP ask me should you be taking him to the heart hospital, having been through the issues with extremely low blood pressure, I am aware of exactly what they do, they re-hydrate slowly over a number of hours, and even during the night in one case, blood pressure bounced back to normal.

I your case you are losing liquid with your period, drink some more and see if your blood pressure comes back to what is normal for you.

I have become extremely knowledgable about husbands issues and what his symptoms are when he is failing, and even been able to correct young junior Dr's, and only one who has apoligised to me is our own GP and said you know a little more than I do about his heart issues, I must admit I have made a study of him, read everything including Dr's books, cardiologist's books and educated myself, and some of husbands issues are not even in the cardiologists books, senior consultant cardiologists and I trust each other now and he listens to what I have to say, and we have a laugh that I have saved my husbands life 5 times now by getting him to the heart hospital in time for them to be able to save him.
