Nasal allergy

According to the doctor, my nasal passages are curved and I often get colds. This is also called allergic cold. Initially, the nose closes and the problem gets worse, then runny nose, sneezing, headache, and sometimes fever. This problem is years old but the problem of nasal congestion has persisted for the last two years, so one pill of L Dio-1-M has to be taken daily and it is a great relief. Does this cause any damage? Is there any alternative treatment other than surgery? (I am 77 years old and have some other physical problems which are overcome with all the medicines.)image
