Hello Ladies...does anyone else suffer from bouts of nausea? I have just finished a light period and can feel my hormones going in to decline, normal symptoms are returning and now I have these waves of nausea almost like morning sickness??

Hi Kelly-Ann2308 I did... the one thing that helped me rid myself of this was lowering my caffine levels. i.e. no coffee. Google "morning sickness and menopause". It's quite normal, sorry to say. It passes...

One of the oldest and perhaps the best remedy for nausea is ginger. Try a warm cup of ginger tea. ...

Second to ginger is peppermint, which has a calming effect on the lining of the stomach. ...

Create your own anti-nausea syrup with a half-cup of white sugar and a quarter-cup of water.   hope this helps

    Hi Kelly.

Yes I get the odd pangs of nausea. My appetite has been less in peri and sometimes I can have a meal and not feel like eating it. I'm sure it is hormones. We will get through this.

    Take care.

Yes I do too, just had it 2 weeks ago out the blue for onlyl about 5 minutes,  and was not even thinking it could be peri related but seems it indeed is. Come to think about it I have it since a few months on occasion...mmmhh.

Thank-you all for your replies. Feeling like absolute rubbish today and not sure if I have a kidney infection or whether it is all peri. I have also had low right sided abdominal pain since April, does anyone else have anything similar? Been to the Gynae but not due to go back until Feb for a scan and blood results.

Yes I have been feeling nausea a lot and I thought I was having an heart attack as that is one of the symptoms. I think now, having read a lot on here. it is just perimenopausal. I think thia will pass or at least I hope it will pass. For me as long as I know ia m not dying of something I am OK dealinig with these symptoms.
