I don't have experience with infusions but my initial methotrexate injections adequate me somewhat nauseous. Unfortunately this was often when I was at work so a night shift nurse. Fortunately I recalled learning from a couple of adult nurses, I work with babies, that a small amount of peppermint essential oi under the nose helps with nausea. I keep a bottle in my purse and it does help. Good luck with finding a solution that works for you.

Somehealth food stores carry food quality oils.  Also ginger will help, as does gingerale.

As Lynn said health food stores or stores that carry aromatherapy diffusers. You just rub a drop under your nose. As Lynn suggested too ginger helps. Some pharmacies even carry ginger gum that is used by chemo patients

    Hi Debbie,

I am on Rituximab infusions. the night before I take acetaminophen 509 mg, benadryl 25 mg, and an Allegra. In the morning I take the same thing. When I arrive at the infusion center they run saline for a bit, then run in solumedrol 30mg before beginning the rituximab...rakes about 7 hours.

    kind regards

    judith
