Nausea, dizziness, sore throat, etc. please help

My name is Hannah. I've been feeling weird lately and I'm starting to get worried. The day before the day before yesterday, I was sitting in my dads room watching a show with him and suddenly I felt really dizzy and I hadn't really eaten that day so I figured I'd get something to eat and I think I felt better after that. However, I've been feeling dizzy and nauseous a few times yesterday and I've eaten and everything so I'm starting to get worried. Another thing, I do get dizzy spells often, well occasionally. I used to get dizzy spells on my period and get really bad cramps and so I got put on the depo shot (birth control) for it which stopped the cramps and dizziness and the period too. However, sometime in February or April, I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and I got really dizzy when I got up from using the restroom and fell on the bathtub and tried to get up but fell again and it literally looked like someone beat me up, but the only place I had the strength to make it was my bedroom and I was sweating and everything. My mom didn't even see me until the next morning. Because I couldn't go tell her. Anyways, she brought me to the ER, but they didn't really help so she brought me to my primary care physician and he thought it was a cardiac problem called vaso vagal syncope. We're not sure if that's what I have, but so far were thinking that's what I have, but I don't think that has to do with what's been happening the past few days. But I wanted you to know about other similar events relating to this. Oh and one more thing. I don't know if this has to do with the dizziness and nauseousness, but for the past few weeks I've had this cough, just a cough, I've been to the doctor for it. And I still cough maybe like once or twice a day. But day before yesterday I woke up with a sore throat and my nose was stuffy yesterday and I still have a sore throat kind of.

Hi hannah..  dizziness can be realted to many different  health conditions & causes nausea as a result..  Sore throat, cough and stuffy nose could be a viral infection..  I would suggest returning to your GP hannah for a thorough check over including blood work..   Until you find the answers to the dizziness it would be best to keep yourself in a safe environment where you can avoid injury by falling..   Please let us know how you go hannah wink

I just don't understand why I feel this way. I haven't gotten dizzy or nauseous today. Well if I have, maybe a little and not that noticeable. I've mostly been sneezing today.

So relieved that your dizzy turns are keeping away..  Hopefully this will stay that way..  It appears that you may be suffering from a cold virus hannah..  typical symptoms are sore throat, congested nose, cough, watery eyes,  hot & cold shivers are related to influenza..  drink lots of fluids (water).. rest, keeping warm should help you recover more quickly

Yes, you will feel hot or cold.. running a mild fever is all part of this virus.. If you develope a high temperature or feeling much worse in your self,  please go and see a GP just to make sure it is viral & not a secondary infection

I meant if I'm hot, should I still keep warm?

And do you think i should skip bowling camp? I'm probably still gonna go though

I would not advise getting chilled off hannah..  your body is fighting the virus.. drinking lots of fluids is really important - not only to hydrate you but to keep your body flushing itself from nasty little bacteria..  See how you feel sweetheart about going to bowling camp..  Only you will know if you are feeling up to it..  If you do go,  is it possible for someone to take you home (parent, relation)  should you feel ill?
