I am nauseated  frequently with this. I have found I respond well to over the counter motion sickness medication which I keep on hand. In the beginning exhaustion was a big factor but that and the mental fog that goes with it seems to be getting better after I started taking essential fatty acids. I make a point to eat something light after the nausea starts improving, it seems to keep it at bay.

What essential fatty acids do you take? Thanks for your response xx

Okay, I got moderated because I used a brand name. I use a fish oil with 1200 mg, 360 mg of that is efa and dha which are the essential fatty acids.

Hi, I've had MD for years but only recently started being nauseous in the mornings similarly to morning sickness (which it quite definitely is not!) so I've been taking ONDANSETRON 4mg tablets for it.  I read it is used for chemo patients and for after operations to combat sickness and it seems to work for me.  I could take two a day but one in the morning seems to work.  Just taken one now in fact.

Louise, I tried Meclizine and it didn't seem to help, but my doctor has me using Promethizine now and it really helps when I feel nauseated. Have not seen it mentioned on here, so thought I would mention it. Not sure if anyone else has tried it and had it helped, but it seems to have helped me. Good luck!

That's my biggest complaint is the "seasick"/"dizzy" all the time. They seem to do nothing until you get to "rotational" vertigo. As if being seasick constantly is okay. Sorry to sound bitter. Tired of being told to live with this and the symptoms unless I'm lying on the floor.

Just out of interest, do you get migraines? I've been doing a lot of research on MD, I went off migraine medication 3 weeks ago following vertigo (I was annoyed that it isn't stopped it) however I've felt terrible ever since, went back on it last night, I immediately have lost my nausea and feel normal again. I can let you know the generic name of you're interested

I've gotten the occassional migraine (one-two per year). I tried several migraine meds when they were't sure what the Meniere's was. I've got a long list of stuff that didn't work. I'm just finishing up my first Gentamicin injection of my second round (I did a round back in October 2015). It's been just over a year and that's when they say you need a booster. Hopefully I'll get another injection next week and get relief for a while.
