I have been off zantac roughly for 2 weeks.

Took it again today because these past few days i jave been getting a weird sensation where around my tonsils are. It feels like muscus and it feels like i want to throw up and gag. Will thus go away?

Thank you

Sounds to me like people the redux is acting up again and the irritation is causing mucus which in turn is causing you to feel like you want to gag. Perhaps trying the Zantac again to see if symptoms diminish. My understanding via my Gastro MD is sometimes you need the Zantac for a few months. I would try the Zantac again for a week and if no improvement contact my doctor for evaluation of the problem.

Yes i was thinking the same, i have been on and off it for about a year. Been on it since march up until late june. I think i will stadt again until i see my doctor next time. She wanted me to try natural things like dgl tablets.

      Thank you.

Yes it is. I have been on and off it for a year already. Multiple endosopies. Multiple opinions all the same.

      Thank you

I am no doctor but I doubt if this is a symptom of reflux. A sour-bitter taste of clearly acidic aspect is what reflux brings to the back of your throat. Another is bad breath which is usually mistaken for poor hygiene. There are other more notorious events like the pain in the gut and heat flushes that could last for hours at times. I can only hope that helps.
