Nearly 3 weeks post op and lots of pain still

Hi everyone i had my womb cervix and ovaries removed on the 23rd nov 2017 .just been put on strong antibiotics as they say i have a infection going on somewhere in lots of pain on c-section scars and wee was brown this morning really brown.im a bit concerned tho as my appointment is in april 2018 for a follow up ???? 5 months after my op? Ive gone straight into a surgical change too ??????????

    Sorry you're going through this.  Please get in touch with your doctor.  Brown urine could be indicative of many things--let them know so you can get it sorted.  xx

    Hello AJ, I'm brand new here posting so I hope what I say makes sense! I too had a full hysterectomy and a cyst removal on 27 November and am making fairly good progress but still feeling sore etc.

    If you have antibiotics for the infection I assume you have seen a doctor who prescribed them?  I'd phone for another appointment with your GP who should be able to explain why the follow up at hospital isn't til April and confirm that the medicine is doing the job. 5 months does seem a very long time, surely a 6 week appointment is more usual. Phone tomorrow and get seen asap. Good luck xx

      Hi susannah i saw a emergancy doctor over the weekend and he said i should have a six week check.i phone my hospital and the receptionist said she will speak to my surgeon and see if thats right .but im goin to my gp in the morning .hopefully ill get some anwers.hope your progress is still goin ok 😊thankyou for your advice
