neck and head pain

hi all i'm 53 postmenopausal for 4 years i had dexa scan 5yrs ago which said i had osteopena but i also suffer bad anxiety which i'm taking 5mg librium and propranolol 10mg 3x daily for this but the last few months i have had terrible neck pain tension headaches, lightheadedness gotta go for an xray on monday just a bit worried dont know if some of these symptoms are my meds or occuring from my neck i also have pain down my arms anybody put any light to this please

    I have health anxiety, I worry about everything. I have been on citalopram for several years.

    I also have all the symptoms you describe and went to my doctor about it a couple of years ago. I had xrays on my neck and spine and these showed early signs of osteoarthritis. I was referred to a rheumatologist and ENT specialist because I also have tinnitus and they all seem to think that my symptoms stem from my neck problem affecting the nerves.

    So your symptoms could definitely be occurring from your neck if a problem is detected there but they can also be caused by anxiety. Hopefully you will get some answers after you have your xrays. I wish you all the best with that.
