Neck/Head Tremors

male, 40, within the last 5 weeks I have been experiencing tremors inside the bottom of my head and at the top of my neck. When I go to bed at night this is when the tremors are most noticeable. They've appeared from nowhere and I'm not sure if I brought them on myself with feeling anxious or stressed. Can anxiety really bring on neck tremors? I've had a CT scan of my head, still awaiting the results, but the docs already suspect it will be clear. I also feel quite shaky inside, mostly felt at the top of my chest and arms. When I stand up I could fall backwards. I went to see a Chiropractor and also a balance physio. The physio thought it was an inner ear infection made worse by anxiety but I'm not so sure. Has anyone experienced similar tremors in the neck/head and what treatment will help me sleep at night?

I had vertigo and after it was cured got a head and trunk tremor....wondering if they are related or a coincidence. Got a blood test done and nothing was found except a little low vitamin D. Considering going to a neurologist but I don't have any loss in motor skills or anything like brain fog so don't really want to spend $1500 for nothing. There is so much about the brain not understood by modern medicine. As for sleeping yes they can be bothersome, usually put on a fan or some youtube background rain so you aren't so conscious of them. Let me know how it goes for you

Have you tested your ears for infections? Discomfort in the ear causes dizziness; get it checked first. Anxiety can also cause tremors called psychogenic tremors.
