Neck is bad

Hi recently started going to the chiropractors cause was having pretty bad pressure in my head and chest pains, been dealing with anxiety lately so that is causing the chest pain but found out that my neck is pretty messed up i have a forward curve and some bone out of place from years of terrible postureso that is whats causing the head pressure from so much tension in neck in head. My question is and i know is probly a silly one cause even my neurologist already told me no is not going to happen can my neck problems cut off blood or oxygen supply to my brain. My chiropractor told me there is nothing lofe threatebing about what is wrong with me but definetly need to grt it straightened out or will have major problems in future my neck just feels so wierd like its so tight but sensitive at the same time. The anxiety has been making me think crazy things lately so i am probly just overthinking it im sure but curious if anybody had any insight on this for me

Thanks for any help/replies

Not sure my experience would help; however, I've gone to chiropractors, acupuncturists, physio therapists, etc. over the years and I got the most relief from wry neck, frozen shoulders, upper back pain from treatments by an osteopath.  Homework required but not too onerous.

Hi Barry, if you're having Chiropractic it is worth asking them if they practice a technique called "Core postural alignment". This is sometimes practiced by Chiros trained in the techinique and helps to improve posture and is quite good at improving FHP ( forward head posture) I practice it myself although I am not a Chiro but have the CPA training. Where about are you in the UK? I am in Northamotonshire.. Regards Sarah

    Hi Barry,

Perhaps you could take a look at my website and see what you think. There's loads of info on there about all the treatments I do. My contact details are there so if you think I could help you can get in touch!

I'll leave that up to you- having said that, CPA is helpful to improve postural problems and Bowen can help with pain, I often help with back problems and pain.

As far as I know it can not shut off your blood and oxygen but pinched nerves like what you probably have can cause many problems.  Sometimes after going to a chiropractor your body might hurt or neck might hurt from being put in place after not being IN place for some long time.

It didn't get that way over night and isn't gonna get fixed overnight. You are probably gonna need a few visits maybe a few months. Well worth it

I had a severe back problem and have always gone to the chiropractor but ours retired and I had to find a new chiropractor.

What a difference   No longer have back aches. Doesn't make me crawl out of bed   I pretty much just get up

    Good luck
