Neck lump!!

Right now my anxiety is going through the roof thinking about the possibility of lymphoma!

I have a gland that seems to be quite big under my jaw and doesnt hurt when i touch it.

It moves a little bit but is hard, not squishy and aches.. It has been there for ages now, possibly about 5 months and im sure it has got bigger!

Does anyone know if this sounds like it could possibly be lymphoma? Im scared of getting it checked out !

I would definitely get it checked out hun. Scared or not it could be serious or it could be nothing. But to be safe yes I would have it checked out. Blessings

Get it checked out. I get those lumps all the time. They don't usually last 5 months, but the last one lasted a while and I was thinking of going to the doc, but it went away. It could just be a swollen lymph node. My husband has had one for awhile.

It might just be a cyst which will go down on its own but I would have  a GP look at it for piece of mind.

Always a good idea to check out any lumps or bumps with a doctor. This way you get all your answers.

I had the same thing for several years, ad it turned out to be a salivary gland tumor, usually non cancerous, mine was and I had it removed and you can hardly see my scar,

I left it a little too late, but i finally got the lump checked. I had a follow up today with doctor as he wanted to see if it would go down..it hasnt, its still the same, aches and it swollen.

He mention salivary stone, but he checked and couldnt feel anything. He did say that my gland feels firm like a jelly bean. Whereas they should be soft. I am being referred to an ent specialist. Im absolutely terrified about it being cancer. The doctor mentioned cancer but said it might not be, but surely the node wouldve gone down already!! Its been nearly a year i think!!

The first thing they did for mine was a biopsy aspiration to check for any abnormal cells and cancer cells have you done that yet they put a numbing agent on and it doesn't hurt that bad , thankfully mine came back negative mine was a salivary tumor they had to remove it I recovered very well and I'm so glad to have it taken care of but I had my lamp for eight years you need to get your arse biopsied immediately and see what's going on prayers to you my friend keep us posted
