I have tried an Osteopath and found that that eases the neck pain, they actually incorporate a type of massage into their treatment which uses the pressure points of the neck area and that definitely does give relief. Also I find that massaging in Voltaren emugel before going to be helps, not sure if I am allowed to use the brand name or not, other creams of the same type would probably do as well. Hope this helps. The other trick I was told about was to lay on the bed and let your head drop slowly of the end of the mattress which also helped. (NZ)
