Need advice...been lightheaded for a while

Hello this may be a long post so I do apologize for the rambling.

So my story with lightheadedness begins back at the end of August 2017. I started to feel lightheaded to the point that I had to lay down to find any comfort. I went to the ER got a CT scan and found out I had a sinus infection. Took antibiotics but that didn't help much after since my lightheadedness was still there. At the same time I was going to a severe case of heartburn.

The lightheadedness sort of went away after a few weeks but my heartburn still stayed. I went to a stomach doctor several times and ended up getting an endoscopy found out everything was ok. I'm currently taking Dexilant in the morning and Zantac at night which has had some success.

Towards November 2017, I started getting lightheaded again and had another CT scan for the sinuses but there was no infection. Then it went away until the end of January 2018. Sadly again it came back and I have been going through it again to the point that it has been around now. I always feel lightheaded 24/7 and can't really figure out why.

I've seen an ENT, allergist etc but nothing could be found. In March 2018, I had a panic attack as I wasn't feeling too good so went to the hospital where another CAT scan was taken but not of the sinuses just the overall brain. I'd like to think there are no tumors given that 6 months have past and nothing was picked up from these scans. My lightheadedness just feels like I'm floating and sometimes feel like my feet are not on the ground. My ENT told me its not related to the ears as nothing showed up in the scans and there is a small displacement in my right nostril that is preventing some airflow from entering but he was the one who recommended me to see a neurologist to rule out anything else

I'm going to see a neurologist in 2 weeks but I was just wondering to see if anyone else is getting these kind of symptoms. What evidence or lifestyles recommendations do you have to maybe help this. Thank you for reading this

Hi Nick, you situation sounds similar to mine but I dont know if I'd call it lightheadedness it's more an off balance sort of feeling, do you have it constantly or does it come on with certain movements? Also do you have anxiety?

It's definitely constant and I don't really think I have anxiety. I may overthink somethings but I like to think I'm relaxed a lot.

Hi Nick... I live with lightheadedness/floating/out of sorts.  Had no tests whatsoever... doctor just look at me with blank expression & I very rarely go to docs.  Haven’t been in over 5 years now as they don’t help.  I have had this going on since menopause 10 years ago.... so I get on with it. One of many many symptoms too many to mention.  Most have left but the imbalance/lightheadedness/floating have stayed on & off.  We can’t even get an X-ray unless you actually fall over or have an accident. Our NHS is a disaster & our Doctors will never understand  unless they specialise in a specific subject it’s all very sad.  I’ve had to give up a career/job that I loved because no one would listen.  It is what it is ... 😕xx
