Need advice possibly endo not sure

Hi I'm wondering if anybody can give some advice. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a mild constipation and started to worry and thought it was something more serious as I have thin stools. I went to my gp he gave me an abdo exam and rectal exam. He eased my worries as I don't have any rectal bleeding. I, at the time had mild hip and back pain. Just to be on the safe side gp is referring me for a colonoscopy. Since my visit to the gp the pain in my hip and abdomen has got worse. Calculating the date I'm halfway through my period and I am ovulating. The pain is quite bad on my right side it's mainly an painful ache but occasionally a sharp pain..My period history is bad pain but normal not heavy bleed..Just need some advice from anyone out there....or am I being over anxious

Sounds just like my symptoms! I went to 2 different docs and they said not to worry, it doesnt sound like endo. Dont know if thats reassuring...but thought id share!

Hi Julie, I am exactly the same. Half way through my monthly cycle, I bloat out and my bowel movements are thin and I would say constipated too. I have quite severe pain on my lower abdomen especially at the right side near my hip.

I've had many tests, ultrasounds, scans etc all clear. The doctors said it is ovulation pain and showed me on an ultrasound how close the ovaries etc are to my bowel.

I am however waiting to go to a consultant at the start of March to see about endometriosis.

hopefully I will get somewhere because this pain is awful xx

My gyanecologist told me at the beginning of being diagnoised that they were are the classic signs of endo. I have had 8 laproscopies to remove the endo but now because i have had so many it has caused scare tissue on the top of my womb which causes more pain. I hope you get some answers soon
