Need help

Hi

Since January I have been dealing with diverticulitus and rectum prolapse. After two trips to the ER and being turned away bc this is an elective procedure, I finally found a surgeon to take my case. It has been two weeks since my surgery and I am having trouble going number 2. That is I have it in my rectum, but it will not release. I have taken stool softener, fiber gummies,fiber food and a laxative. Can someone tell me what could work? I am desparate and very uncomfortable. Maureen
