I have anxiety and get panic attacks. A lot less now because I'm taking care of myself, being more mindful, sleeping better, hydrating more.

However today I had a very stressful day

I had also ordered a Latte from Starbucks, with caffeine

So the whole day everything was okay but then in the evening after I was done my work, I started getting

2 to 3 several episodes of

many extra beats

a pause, a hard beat

Then normal\

Then again, ,when I would clear my throat, , chest

it would start

Earlier when I had a moment of like almost crying because I was just dealing with something like real emotional(both negative and positive), I had that feeling in the pit of my stomach, chest, you know that feeling that precedes when you actually cry, that mid of chest hard feeling. I had that and then my heart started to palpitate like pvcs, or extra beats, a lag and then a hard beat

So noticing nervous twitches in my legs and arms now.

Is that because of the Starbucks caffeinated Tea and the anxiety and stress or what? Anyone every experience this?

What did you do to get out of it?

I just breathed myself out of it..

Thanks for any advice or a relatable story you can share.

Sorry to hear of the extra/missed beats. Not being a Dr. all I can say is I get occasions of extra and missed beats. My personal Dr. and cardio guy said nothing to worry about. It is pretty common. Easy for them to say. The problem is it is scary and that only makes it worse. There are a ton of triggers. Add any 2 together or start stacking them and you could have an event. Sounds like breathing is working. Maybe try practicing that a couple of days to help keep stress lower.

You could buy a Kardia personal ECG so if it happens again you can get a record of it and send it to your doctor. Then you know for sure and can either get it addressed or not worry.

    Cheers

Yes, you should avoid caffeine, especially from restaurants. Best of luck.
