Zoloft.. lol I skipped the 50-75 and went straight to 100 MG. Had some side effects but works tremendously great after they stopped.

I am really sensitive to sertraline.  I had awful side effects for over a month when I started and they are only just starting to calm down so that’s why i am so scared to increase incase it all comes back.   X

I recommend upping your dose Laura, i was hesitant too, and barely felt an increase in side effects when i did. Im feeling a tiny bit better each day. Im going to increase to 100mg next weekend

Yea i hit a bump on 50mg and it didnt seem to end. Although im a little more depressed id say the anxiety has improved significantly since starting 75mg. I get a little nauseous around supper time but its more of an uncomfortable sensation rather than full blown nausea.

Its good to not move up the dosage too fast but you also dont want to extend the suffering longer than you need.

Ive decided to get to 100mg and see where that takes me. Now that ive got that as a goal i can focus more on getting there rather than how I feel at the moment.

Sending some love your way, I hope we all find some solace soon. Life used to be an interesting and mysterious place full of wonder, but for as long as I can remember its been uninviting, dim and horrifying. Even the simplest of things have become daunting tasks. Im tired of feeling like a child lol.

      Xoxoxoxoxoxxo hugs.

Aw Dylan I feel your pain I really do I feel just like you.   I’m a shadow of myself and just want to feel better so I can be a normal functioning mum again, my poor kids don’t know what to think of me at the moment and that crushes me utterly.   My son is 15 and my daughter is 13 and they need their mum and I’m so wrapped up in my own head I’m not being there for them the way I should be.   X

So sorry to hear that. I cant imagine watching someone go through what we’re going through. Without having experienced it myself and as an observer i wouldnt know how to help.

Only because ive been through this do I feel compassion. If I wasnt here now i cant say i could really comprehend depression/anxiety at all.

I hope this rollercoaster ends soon  so we can get back to enjoying life.

    Hi Laura,

brand new on this site. I too am currently at 50mg. Couple more weeks, and I’ll go up to 75. Doctor told me that 25-50 are the low doses, and I’d only feel slight improvement. Was on 50 for a year and I stopped, thinking I was all better lol Guess not. Will up it and take note as the weeks go by smile

I too feel anxious, and my thoughts race so bad, that I swear my brain in going to explode. Worrying a lot, and dwelling too much on negative things. Good luck. And remember you’re not the only one out there X

    Hi Laura

I went from 50 straight too 100 and to be honest it was hell for 2 weeks. After that small improvement day by day and now 6 weeks in feel better than I have done for years . Able to focus control my thoughts and move forward with clarity for the first time in years . I was sceptical and nearly gave up but so very pleased I did not . Hope this helps Jim
