I've had on and off itching for 6 months had bv twice in this timeline but never resolved after treatment and no response to yeast treatment. when i first started gettinf symptoms of itching and burning i just assumed it was a yeast infection as i had just started my birth control two weeks before and because there was thicker looking discharge but there was a red rash in my vulva that looked like little red dots but no sores from what i recall. The symptoms did go away for a couple weeks before returning. i got really sick a week after an unprotected encounter in october he came back positive for chlamydia a couple weeks after the encounter but i tested for it 3 times and was negative. when i got sick i was on 3 diff antibiotics without them ever swabbing as they just assumed i had strep but it never resolved so i was eventually hospitalized as i could no longer eat due to how huge my tonsils were. they never found out what i had as all my mouth swabs came negative for mono strep and tonsilitis and i was sick for an entire month with super swollen lymph nodes in my neck and really bad throat. since then i have had on and off itching in my vagina and cant pinpoint it and no doctor has helped. Also a couple weeks after my first yeast infection my boyfriend at the time (not the chlamydia guy) got what he thought was a yeast i fection with ehite stuff under his foreskin and itching im not sure if he got any other symptoms, he did home remedies and it went away for him. I also found out about a month ago that i have HSV-1 I'm assuming orally because the cold sore was in my nose.
I've been nervous that i have genital herpes or something because of me getting sick, my bf getting symptoms of infection and also the fact i just found out i get cold sores. The lypmh nodes in my neck and armpit got swollen a week ago and i just got my period today and my pelvic area/groin feels very tender. Could this just be period related or something else?
Please let me know your thoughts as this has caused me so much anxiety as ive been the the doctor so many times in the past 6 months with no peace of mind it's really making me depressed.

usually herpes outbreaks dont last as long as what youve said youve been experiencing these symptoms, however that doesnt mean you dont have it, have you been tested for it?

ive never had any sores in the genital area but about a month ago i got a cold sore on my nose and found out i have HSV-1 through a swab so im not sure if it could be connected. It's just the pain that concerns me it doesnt hurt until i like touch or rub than it feels like its burning for like a little while. those bumps around my vulva dont hurt or anything and the doctor said they were all normal but i just dont understand why they came up just after i started having issues.

maybe it is a possibility then! im so sorry youre feeling such discomfort at the moment, ive been the same recently and it sucks:(
do u use intimate area wash? it could be irritation, or could be due to your immune system being low due to the antibiotics and whatnot?
if youre from the UK try vagisil or canneston for a few days, a cold compress, when drying urself after a bath dab instead of rub, and try to take some vitamins to boost your immune system! i hope you feel better soon and this subsides!

no i only ever wash with just water and i do have a weak immune system. i think maybe my stress could also be causing me more symptoms as they come and go and i dont notice them when im not constantly thinking about it.

bless you, im the exact same! try drinking more water also, it will aid in flushing out your system and maybe use epsom salts in the bath?

yes i will try that, i'm just hoping it's nothing serious and will go away. i have a gynecologist appointment start of july which seems forever away but hopefully they will be able to give me a better diagnosis than my family doctor as ive been so many times and she only tells me everything looks normal but its not the look im concerned about, its how i feel!!
