Need info on applying Diclofenac 1% gel for Costo

I have been having stomach problems from oral NSAIDs so my doctor has prescribed Diclofenac 1% gel. I know it can still cause some stomach upset but hopefully not as much. But the only instructions I have are for applying it to arms, hands, etc. My pain is mostly in left ribs and sternum, so I'm assuming I should apply it right to these areas, but I'm guessing and would really appreciate any info from anyone that has used it for Costo. Thanks !

    Hi Stephen,

The only side effect I have had from putting my diclofenac gel on my sternum/ lower ribs is kind of irritated nipples which is apparently a normal side effect when used on the upper body. I wrap a super hot towel round my lower chest after a shower and apply afterwards and then in the morning before work.

Thanks so much for your help. Info from folks, like yourself, who have this thing and have experience with it is so much more valuable, and trustable, than just reading the stock directions that come with it. Thanks again!
