I usually did Liquid diet for 3 days and it helps me a lot. Chicken broth, beef bone broth, pure aloe juice, kefir, coconut water, peppermint tea, ginger tea, fruit juice without too much sugar, cream of wheat with lots of milk, cranberry juice.

I have been symptom free for 4 months. Recently I have fallen off the wagon insofar as my diet. I've been eating things I like, such as fried chicken, steak, chips & salsa. I've been paying the price. Even though I've been drinking lots of water every day, my gut is revolting against my favorite foods. Today, I'm feeling a slight overall feeling like I have the flu and some pain in my gut, not terrible, but enough that I'll take a Tylenol extra strength tablet. If I can make it through this episode, I'm definitely going to try to go back to good eating and avoiding the foods that I know can and will trigger a flare up.
