need pip advice

hi, can anyone give me advice please , ive been suffering for the last 2 years now and got worse over the last 6 months but have finally been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. and also ostioarthritis in my hane which ididnt realize i had. . i was working 2 jobe last year but had to give my second job up due to my health and am now only doing 12 hours a week which i can just about cope with but im not living on much money . my job is cleaning. could anyone advice me if i can claim any extra help with money as my life at the minute is quite grim. constantly struggling . thankyou , sharon

    Hi Sharron,

    The best thing to do is to call into your local Citizens advice bureau, they will be able to advise you what benefits you are entitled to. Sounds like you might be able to claim PIP and perhaps ESA and if you get these and live alone you will also get SDA, and even housing and council tax. The ESA is income based so it depends on what you're earning, but the CAB will know all about it and are probably the best people to go to. If you struggle with filling in forms they will also be able to tell you who in your area can help you with that, so have a chat with them about your whole situation when you go in.
