Hi everyone, i have been fighting against depression, anxiety these past years... everything was going smoothly, i managed to continue my studies in a good univeristy, to get a job, but since three months ago i had this problem everything started with intense itch at nights nothing to worry about until i decided to check myself in the mirror. I started crying, couldnt sleep that night as many other nights after.

I took Albendazole for three days, they were gone for 2 weeks and just the day i was gonna take the other dose they appeared again.

Then i took Zentel for two weeks, one each week, they were gone again but just for a few days.

This did it to me, i was literally broken into pieces, i was so desperate i went to the only dr. i knew he said that i should take zentel again for three days and see how it goes.... so i did.

Zentel for three days...... nothing happened not even a day of relief.

Went again to the dr, new pill: Colluquim

Took Colluquim for three days i finished the dose two days ago.

And the itching hasn't stopped.

At this poing im not eating any sugar, carbs. Just salad, veggies, chicken potatoes some days and that's it. Of cours i tried garlic every morning and night, taking probiotics, absinthe, papaya seeds, etc. Its been a month like this i have lost a lot of weight......

I stopped goin to my uni in a month, i left my job three weeks ago i can't live like this, i feel so anxious and desperate every day i need help, i need confort, please any help and recommendation that you have can help me. Thanks

I am going through a similar situations. I am a 22 year old female and have been suffering for 5 years now as I picked up threadworms when I went abroad. I would only get symptoms once or twice a year, however since November 2016 I have been suffering from the constant itching and 'wriggling sensation' . I have taken mebendazole many times however it has not worked. I am at a point now where I have just given up as I feel like nothing will help me. Another thing I noticed was since the day I was first infected, I am constantly hungry. I can eat as much as I want but never truly feel 'full', I haven't heard of anyone else having this symptom so thought it was quite strange. I think it is best that u see your doctor again and let them know how much you are being affected by it, or you could even see a Parasite specialist. I'm not sure where you live but I live in London and am considering it as I cannot live like this for the rest of my life. I hope we can both find a permanent solution soon.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I recently tried a juice recommended by a guy that i knew at a store (he sells herbs, vitamins, etc). I tried and had a huge diarrhea for three days and so far so good dont feel any itch it's been four days since i stopped drinking that. It has 6 peppermint branches, 6 of nettle, half a spoon of papaya seed (i took almost a complete spoon tho) and milk, all that stuff into the blender and drink. Quantity is about the size of half the blender, one in the morning and one in the night before breakfast and dinner respectively and dont eat for about 20 min, for three days. So you have to take this 6 times total (2 for day) and is awful really it made me cry while i took it but you know it was worth. Adding to this i am drinking papaya seeds everyday (in a juice using the blender) and eatings lots of salad, especially carrot and garlic. Im planning taking this juice again in 6 days from now (10 days since the las tame i drank this thing) just like a pill. I hope this can help you. Best of luck to you
