I'm out of hospital for 3 weeks after having pneumonia and asthma....and at the moment I'm worried I may have it again. I have all the symptoms...But yet my peak flows are not really low enough to warrant going into a&e yet...Ive seen a doc and they said its a chest infection....but thats what they said the last time....and when my asthma got so bad i needed to be admitted the hospital nearly had a fit because I had pneumonia! Any advice? Thanks!xx

Hello Judz. I would go to either my local walk in centre or to A&E. I wouldn't hang around, you've been too unwell in the past. Take care

Hi, I would try and get seen somewhere asap - asthma is as you know a very unpredictable condition and things cn change rapidly. Hope you get well soon

Ditto.. Please get seen at the hospital as soon as possible.!  The last thing you want is another dose of pneumonia again, it's a very serious illness and will damage your lungs permanently.  Next thing you'll be put on oxygen 24/7 because of bad lungs and who wants that 😱..  I'm sorry for nagging Judz but when living with asthma - we all need to take better care of ourselves 👍..

Be careful, Judz, when I was struggling to breath the admissions doctor said GO HOME AND REST. My husband shouted at him and was very rude in a room full of 50 people. Security was called.  I was admitted with pneumonia. Take a friend with you, as sometimes you feel so ill you cant stick up for yourself ....... good luck.

Judz I'm so pleased you went to hospital. Things could have been so much worse if you'd tried to sit it out. And they don't admit patients to a HDU for no reason. You take care. Thinking about you and please keep in touch x

Good luck Judz -  how much longer are you intending to put up with the constant bad health? Do you ever think of changing your lifestyle completely? I did, and think that one or two infections a year are so much better that the wearying ill health -  I could never live in a bad climate again or a town. What do you think?
