Need some virtual hugs!

Hi All

Hope you're all doing really well and losing lots.

I'm a bit down today as just started week 3 so weighed myself this morning and after doing okay in week 1 (3.5lbs), last week I only lost half a pound. Gutted, have been really really good. So in 2 weeks I've only lost 4lbs.

Think I may not be eating enough fat. You lot are great!! I wouldn't have known that if it wasn't for you.

Just thrown myself around the lounge on the Wii and doing Aqua fit again tomorrow. Fingers crossed for next week.......

    :hug: Keep up the motivation - that's what I'm hoping to get from here. Because I spend a lot of evenings alone, I tend to just eat the world (which got me in this mess to begin with!), so trying really hard to distract myself.

    Even if you're only losing a small amount, it's still a loss! :ok:

    You're right, losing half a pound is better than putting on half a pound!!

    I'll have to wobble and bounce extra hard in the pool tonight!! LOL

    Listen - you really can do this - sensible 1200-1400 cals, 25-30g of fat, a bit of exercise a day plus the Bluey making the result a bit stronger - it has to work - you canna change the laws of physics ( well biology I suppose).

    I started in late Feb. Going to the Doctor today and I am hoping to be very close to the 4 stone lost mark, and that has included going on a foodie holiday for 2 weeks. Honestly if I can do this anyone can - I was so far from the perfect figure of a woman, it'd make you laugh. That means if you started today and copied me, you would be 4 stones less than you are now by October half term. Even if you have more that 4 stone to go, it would still be nice wouldn't it?

    What now? Well I tell myself that if I have already lost 4 stones (well 2 pounds off I think) then surely I can lose another 7 pounds between now and the end of July - just a few pounds more - forget the previous and make myself just take a few steps more - surely anyone can lose 7 pounds - no big deal........and then when I get there, I will refocus on a new goal just half a stone away again......big goals are too oppressive for me, so one step at a time only.

    I can do this, I will lose the weight and have a healthy BMI, I will. I will, I will!!!!

    Think this week has gone better than last. Need to keep a food diary as I haven't been doing that.
