Need tips on how to provide relief to my mother who has sepsis of the abdominal wall.

My mother has been battling cancer since 2011, and has come out on top of it time and time again. However, this time around her metastatic ovarian cancer developed an infection which has caused a perforation ultimately causing sepsis in her abdominal wall. Originally the doctors were wanting to perform a procedure by placing a drain bag to get the liquids and gases out, however her surgeon stated that after multiple surgeries and her immunity at a 1 it would be unwise to perform a surgery. Right now she is at home under the care of hospice and my family. She is taking her antibiotics, pain relievers and nausea medicine as directed/as needed. However the swelling is obviously just continuing to cause discomfort. Is there anything else we can be doing for her to provide relief when it comes to the swelling. Any and all help is welcome, and thank you in advance.
