Hello.. im a 22 year old male. About a week ago I had a small cold or allergy attack, then I started to hear a high pitched ringing in my left ear. (Also had this muffled high pitched ringing 2 months back after a bad cold) I also suffer from sinus infection. Went to an ENT doctor yesterday and said my ears was fine, but my nose looked sensitive. Also did an audio test, he said my hearing was normal on both ears but I had problems with high frequency noises. Could that be the problem for my tinnitus or ETD? He gave me telfast and nasacort for my nose.

It sounds like tinnitus and it may be short term, from an injury or life-long. Have you had a recent concussion or been exposed to very high volume sounds? Have you been unconscious recently? Visit a neurologist for best answers.
