Negative ultrasound. Could it still be gallbladder?

A couple weeks ago I had an u/s and then went to the ER a day after that because this pain was not going away and I was worried. I have struggled with sharp pains in my side for years that would come and go. For the past 2 years I have had this right side ache that would also come and go. I use to call them flare ups though some people call them attacks. My symptoms are as follows:

Burning in the right side mainly under the rib cage but can cometimes feel just a tad lower and it can radiate into my back and right shoulder. Ive also experinced chest pain and that burning can shoot across the top of my abdomen. I have gas and bloating as well as constipation except for the past few days. Since the u/s was neg. they sent me for a HIDA scan which I should get back the results tomorrow. I cant do much because this right side ache and feeling of fullness in so prominent in my side that it is all I can think about. I still have gas and the gas adds to the pain and burning. I would describe this as more of a dull ache rather than a sharp pain. Just wondering if anyone else has struggled with these symptoms and had a neg. u/s but it still been their GB.?

Lord I'm in pain I have no nausea tho, could they not see the gall bladder or stones, do you think the Honda scan will show something I can't sleep, only eat liquids this been 11 days, please pray this Hida scan reveals something I'm just tired of this pain and the doctors seem like it's not an emergency can't sleep very painful

Hello all! I do not get on here much and the email associated with this thread to alert me when there is a reply is so bogged down with spam that I rarely go there.

Anyway just a quick update that I've not been diagnosed with anything, I still have this samsame pain and I hate it. These past 4 weeks I've had it constantly. I lost my health insurance so have to rely on straight out of pocket for dr visits. .I never was able to get scopes done. 🤷???

Im sorry I wish i could shed some light on my situation and perhaps help someone in the process.

I just has all these tests done I was told I have dilated bile ducts but gallbladder and pancreas all look unremarkable. I go for endoscopy on June 3 and colonospomy. I get pain under breast bone in center, have severe bloat, can barely eat, have severe GERD acid reflux where I throw up in my sleep and often end up with aspiration pneumonitis. I have felt I was having a heart issues cause chest pain and shortness of breathe always super tired. have severe legs and joint pain. was also diagnosed as b12 anemia as well as chronic

constipation. I do have history of long term opiod use from meds I've been on and they have blamed it on that as well as bile duct issue saying is common with opiod use. but now they are starting to think not that. I also have hepatitis c as well from needle stick and hepatocellular disease. I have had so many tests done over the years and no one ever would listen always downplayed my symptoms as constipation or anxiety and now I have thus test scheduled and they also are wanting to do an endoscopy ultrasound as well. today my GI doc who before said was prob constipation severe said my symptoms of shoulder and toward spine sound like gall bladder as well as feeling super nauseous when I wake up from even sleeping for a short time until I eat something but then I feel so full from eating small amounts feel like I am about to burst. my quality of life is so effected yet it seems like no one truly understands what this is like. my abdomen is so swollen people often think I am carrying twins and about to pop as it is rock hard and distended as well. I up until 3 yrs ago weighed 140 pds now 240 and didn't change diet etc only thing that changed was I was a former dancer and stopped. I also used to drink socially and drink.caffiene and no longer do. I suffer from ptsd and chronic debilitating anxiety as well and also have chronic pain from back issues as well so they often ignore my issues esp since the opiod epidemic before that I had Dr's who cared about and treated my pain and symptoms. now they see everyone as black and white which in return often forces alot of true pain sufferers to either spiral into great depression or to seek self medication. I have tried physical therapy have tried cbd and only thing that allowed me to function and do my daily activities was opiod pain treatment. now they are blaming my issues I am having on that solely and acting like it will go away if I am off my methadone. then when Dr looked at CT and mri from.yrs ago she informed me it showed then as well the dilated bile duct I'm liver as well as me being anemic yet I was never told this ever by anyone and always told my tests came back fine. so def ask for copies of your readings and ask many questions. had I not I would not have found out all the info I have from.them as they are usually straight to the point. hope you all are feeling better and having better results now that it's been several yrs since most of you commented. would love to hear updates with what you all found out about your issues. sending love and light.
