Nerve damage

Since age 5 I have experienced cold sores after kissing my mother goodbye on way to school when she had one. One bad episode had me in hospital with it down my throat and unable to eat. After the birth of my second child five years ago I had Bell's Palsy where one side of your face drops which was frightening at the time because I had no idea what it was.

Recently I have been off work with lower back pain believed to have been caused by a herniated disc. My right side nerves have been affected making movement weak and is achy sore. went to physio and explained that I also felt pain in my arm and strangely my lower jaw and he said the two nerves weren't connected so he didn't understand that. since then i have wondered if the herpes virus could be out to play again. any ideas?
