Nerve issues anyone?

Hi, yes  surprisingly enough they are all symptoms of gerd, not very common but they are definate symptoms. Hopefully when you have ypur tests you will also be given a barium swallow and a ph 24 hr test and more, these will hopefully give your consultant all the I do he needs in order to make a full diagnosis and recommend which treatment I have recently had the LINX procedure and I'm a new person

Sounds like the beginning of menopause. Really crazy symptoms associated with menopause. You might ask your obgyn to test your blood levels for estrogen. Also ask your mother when it happened to her.

I lost the vision in one eye for several hours, terrible muscle tone even though I exercise daily! I was 44 years old. Took months going to specialists when I saw my obgyn. He prescribed hormonew and within days I felt brand new.

I have had these symptoms - (and both an endoscopy and colonscopy which proved entirely normal) - and believe that they are connected with cervical spine difficulties.  It might be well to ask for a cervical MRI and see what the outcome is.  Physiotherapy helped me very much .... My limbs - including the ear - are much more stable ... and I know when things flare up - including the quick chest incursions - exactly what to do to retard them in their tracks.  Most of all, I don't worry ... and try to limit severely my reading of such sites as this.  Must dash now as I'm going to dinner and the theatre with friends.

This may seem a bit bizzare to you but can you potentially have Lyme's disease? Or can you recall a tick bite or even being to places where ticks are common? (50% people with Lyme's don't recall a tick bite) The symptoms you've described are more or less the same as what I'm having. It started a few years ago with only gastrick issues ie. chest pain, burning tongue and intestinal problems. Endoscopy and colonoscopy excluded major problems but biopsy confirmed inflamation. Only now I'm getting to the bottom of it when one decent gastro doctor suggested the test for Lyme's. It was positive. This bacteria can cause a havoc in a human's body and mimmick many diseases, giving pains in joints and muscle, ears and palpitations to name a few. And just to puzzle the doctors, the pains move, disappear, reappear etc. But at least with a help of a good Lyme's litterate doctor there is a hope! 

Sorry Amy for the lenght, I hope you'll find your cure whatever the problem is. It may be very different to what I've described but I just recognised all my symptoms that's all.

              How can I explain you it is scary, horrifieng, unconditional pain burning sensation, chest pain, chocking, panic attack and you feel some time you gonna have heart attack all these problem caused by gastritis even get worse is by anxiety. I have been four time in A&E therefore I like to advise you never stay alone keep busy doing something try to avoid these things coming constantly in your head. When you have treatment make sure you don`t have any ulcers  or complication. I have been suffered from this for 9 months now I haven`t found anything in my stomach or any infection i did endoscopy, Biopsy, ultrasound, Ph level test finally next week I have CT Scan to make sure I don`t have in infection caused by gastritis. But still i have burning sensation on my back along backbone. I had huge problem because of sleeping problem and constipation. Now slightly improving please i like to say just control yourself and calm yourself down. When you eat if you can burp in my experience thats good it sounds strange but its true. be strict on food avoid burger meat fish diary product oily food, fries and spice.for this long i tried everything i can`t explain all these I feel like my life is upside down I tried everything  available now I am taking class of stress management therefore I can`t write everything if you find my massage just reply I will chat on phone if we manage or if you are comfortable.

SEE THAT YOU ARE NERVOUS ABOUT GOING FOR ENDOSCOPY PERHAPS I CAN TELL YOU THAT ITS NOTHING TO CONCERN YOURSELF WITH.

I HAD THIS DONE ON THE 21ST AUGUST AND WAS AN AFTERNOON CASE.

NIL BY MOUTH FOR 4-6HOURS FOR ENDOSCOPY HOWEVER COLONOSCOPY IS A DIFFERENT MATTER .

I WAS MET BY A NURSE AT THE CLINIC[NEW HOSPITAL DAY PATIENTS 100,000,000 AND WORTH EVERY PENNY I MIGHT ADD.

TAKEN TO WHERE THERE WERE BAYS 22 PATIENTS ALL GOING FOR DIFFERENT SCOPES. NURSE DOES TEMP,BLOOD PRESSURE, ASKS A FEW DETAILS AND ASKS IF YOU HAVE FILLED OUT YOUR CONSENT FORM AND ARE YOU TAKING THROAT SPRAY OR SEDATION. I WENT FOR SEDATION AND A LITTLE NEEDLE WAS PLACED IN BACK OF HAND A FEW MINS LATER 2 STAFF CAME FOR ME AND I WAS TAKEN INTO THE TREATMENT AREA ASKED AGAIN WHO I WAS ETC LOVELY TEAM AND IT WAS A NURSE SPECIALIST THAT WAS DOING MY TEST. ONE NURSE GAVE ME A LITTLE NASAL OXYGEN NOT A MASK AND I WAS GIVEN A SMALL DOSE OF SEDATION BACK OF HAND. 3MINS LATER YES I WAS SITTING UP ON TROLLEY AND 20MINS AFTER OUT TO MEET HUSBAND.

BEFORE LEAVING YOU ARE GIVEN RESULTS THE SAME AS YOUR G.P. GETS IF LIKE ME THEY TOOK A LITTLE BIOPSY THE RESULT FOR THAT IS GIVEN TO G.P.

OTHER PROBLEM THAT YOU HAVE NEEDS MEDICAL INVESTIGATIONS AND I WOULD NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE ABOUT THAT PERSONALLY I DONT THINK IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH A GASTRIC PROBLEM BUT THATS MY OPINION.
