    I think I may have to ask my GP to up the dose.  I am in an awful lot of pain.  Probably because I have to gradually reduce the steroid by 1mg a month.  At the lager doses the steroid did help the nerve pain as well as the PMR but the dose has to be decreased slowly and now the nerve pain is bad. Maybe the steroid has upset it somehow?

    Hope you continue to get relief from your pain.
