I had all these sensations for about 2 weeks. Even my cotton bed sheets made my skin hurt.

Its very scary, but it sounds just like my experience. Hang in there.

    Hi Nicole,

It is good to see a post from you, I am sorry to hear that you are having a lot of bother with nerve pain at the moment. I do think this can be common during the virus because it really seems to knock your nervous system for six, nerve pain can be so awful and intense and I just hope and pray that things settle down and you feel much better soon.

Things that I've found helpful for soothing and calming the nervous system including a B100 complex vitamin per day, cayenne pepper, chamomile and feverfew. Definitely worth looking into some of these supplements if not already trying them Nicole, but of course always remember to check for any interactions with other conditions or medication before starting anything and wise to check with herbalist / doctor too, I'm no expert just going on my own research and personal experience of what has helped me. But these things can help a lot of people with nerve pain / issues I think for sure.

I don't think at all that these kind of issues mean chronic EBV, they can be normal for anyone going through a tough and intense time with the virus. I know you've been through so much with this Nicole and it's been a long period, remember some can just take a good bit longer than others to recover from this thing, but it doesn't mean that you won't recover. Of course it's always wise if you are able to see a consultant / specialist doctor when it goes on a bit longer, but in no way does it mean that you won't get better or have chronic EBV. I just hope and pray things get better Nicole and you can see a real breakthrough soon, God knows what you're going through. I still believe that recovery and good health is God's plan for you Nicole and that better times are ahead - hang in there and thinking about you, and do keep in touch and message any time.
