Nerve/Tinging All Over Body - No sores/Lesions. Herpes?

Hey. Hoping someone could shed some light on my symptoms.
Early June I had casual sex with someone new. No symptoms after this apart from feeling a little tired over the next couple of days. This was protected intercourse and she gave me unprotected oral. About 5 days later I remember some slight itching in my legs/butt when I had my jeans on. Didnt pay much attention to it. The next day we slept together again this time it was protected intercourse and we both gave each other unprotected oral.
Over the next few days I just felt a bit off. Poor sleep, waking up super early like 3-4am. I also noticed my itch had gotten a lot worse. Nerve/Tingling in my feet, thighs, knees, butt, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, left side of my face. Odd itch in my genitals/penis tip. Not sure what the hecks going on. Over the next few weeks I noticed the odd blood blister or water blister in my mouth (which I think might have been due to a new toothpaste). These have now stopped since I stopped using it.
However, the poor sleep and itching all over continues. Been to the GUM and Drs. They say its not herpes. If it was my hands/arms should not be itching etc. Im in the UK and they refuse to blood test as I dont have visual symptoms like sores etc.
I asked the girl about her std status. She said she got tested 2 weeks after we last sex and was negative for everything. Shes never had any HSV symptoms so the Drs have never tested for them. Last time she was fully tested she said everything was clear about a year ago and that included hsv. I believe her. Ive only had cold sores and canker sores as a child so I should have HSV1 already.
Anyone else having all over body itching/nerve pain? Ironically Im not itching too much in the genitals. It kinda feels like stinging to touch. Ive been taking 20-30g of Loratidine a day for the last couple of days and this has helped the itching drop but its still there. Ill have to pay for a igg test myself so Im waiting for week 12.

Just to add. She did say she has regualar water infections in her Urethera since a child. She gets them regularly as she has a small urethera so bacteria often gets trapped. I thought this might be HSV misdiagnosed...but she claims shes had it all her life.

Hi Cheeky. your symptoms are not suggestive of herpes. 1. Nerve tingling associated with an outbreak would be on a recurrant outbreak not a primary one. 2 Dr Handsfield a very respected Dr has said time and again that symptoms alone without obvious lesions is not suggestive of herpes. 3. I suspect what may be going is a term he used called "Genitally focused anxiety" due to heightened awareness usually from a regretful encounter. Relax. You are and will be fine. Take the test for you own reassurance but know the result will be negative from that exposure.

Hi Mark. Thank you for coming back to me. I completely understand your view that this could be anxiety related. The reason Im not convinced about that is that I noticed I had the itching/tingling before I had any issues regarding anxiety after the first exposure. In fact I was just getting on with life as per usual but the itching got more and more. Sharp nerve pains in my feet and my hands. Which is not normal. More so in my left leg. It feels like its moving as my chest often has an itch too. Ive read of people getting constant nerve/tinging when they have been diagnosed with HSV and never had an outbreak or lesions.
Its been almost 10 weeks post exposure now. Also if it was anxiety I would not be able to tell the difference in terms of sensations between different antihistamines. Loratadine seems to help while Certarzine doesnt.
It could be something else but as the only thing I havent been tested for is HSV so Im maybe gmaking a rash assumption. The Drs/GUM dont seem to offer any answers so I have to try and work this out on my own. I just feel tired mentally all the time and have a numbness about how my body feels. This could be due to my body fighting something. I also have no rash, just itching/tingling.

where did you read such information....from Drs observations, clinical papers on observed behaviors of hsv2 or possibly forums full of hypochondriacs. There are certain truths regarding herpes. Again I say relax. Take the test at 12 weeks to calm your yourself if it will help you know for sure.
Once you test negative, I'm willing to bet some of what ills you will subside. If it does nott, then speak with your Dr about another possible cause since herpes will have been ruled out.

My research has mostly been online and forums where people who h ave herpes symptoms that either cannot be explained or all started post an encounter and was later diagnosed as HSV. Which were dismissed by Drs and medical professionals because they didnt show typical symptoms lesions etc.
I have actually read and watched videos by Dr Handsfield. I also messaged Terri Warren via her online forum at Westover Heights. Shes said my symptoms do not suggest hsv. Maybe Ive overloaded myself with being online. However, if this itching does not subside it must be something. Guess time will tell. Thanks for the feedback and I hope I am clear. I just want to get on with my life.

Those other people on those forums have some self serving interest for whatever sick reason. There is one fellow in particular who always states "when I got hsv". He tested the lowest of low on hsv1 so it is possible it is false and he will not test via the western blot. He has been told by numerous Drs that he is ok..... Yet he will not believe them. Unfortunately this type of person needs to be a victim and needs others to suffer alongside him. Dont be that person.
Some people cannot be helped. Then, they deliberately confuse people with their nonexistent Herpes BS. I have seen where several people are ok until these "forum experts" starts talking about their "symptoms" and because people are vulnerable in the moment and not sure what to believe, they start questioning their own sanity. Those "forum experts" are fine and you are too.
Do whatever is necessary to relieve your anxiety....but you will be negative.

I'm a straight male from Los Angeles, CA and have the same issue for over eight months after a sexual encounter. There was kissing, protected intercourse, but there probably was some brief genital to genital contact during cuddling. The main symptoms are a combination of tingles, burning, stinging, crawling sensations, all over different parts of my body at random times, sometimes mild, sometimes intense. I have difficulty getting and maintaining erections. I feel fatigue and have a few other symptoms too. I have tested with time apart all common STDs including: HSV1, HSV2, chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, to account for a "window period" all negative. Any updates on this post would be appreciated.
