Nervous about doctor appointment

I have a slap II tear from 2016...caused weakness and pain...was told to do physical therapy.  Physical therapy caused pain. Then 8 months later I fell on that shoulder...lots of pain! Had MRI, showed some bursitis, moderately narrowing of the area around bursitis.

I have bicep tendon and the outer tendon of the arm pain. I cannot do dishes, laundry, carry items...it hurts to drive. I am 33 with 3 kids...I sit around and my husband does everything...we cannot live like this anymore!

I've been seeing a great physical therapist for 8 months...there was progress in the beginning but now I'm worse than ever.

Anyways I cannot live like this anymore, I'm in pain almost all the time and I do no lifting...I just sit around because movement causes pain...either right away or after some repetition.

I saw the most well known orthopedic surgeon in the state(Daniel Buss)..I didn't see him, I saw his PA. I guess that's the way they do things. I saw him right after the fall. He recommended physical therapy. I saw another orthopedic surgeon a month later because I wasn't feeling much better (frozen shoulder I believe). This doctor was cold and said he couldn't do anything for me.

Anyways I have an appointment on Friday to see a PA at Daniel Buss office (last time I saw him was 8 months ago) and I'm so scared they will turn me away. I have been doing the physical therapy exactly like told, I communicate with my PT every week.

My question is...is there something I could say or do or explain to get them to help me?

I'm just in so much pain and debilitated. I'm not a doctor but maybe trim the bony area in the shoulder so it won't rub on bursa...fix slap tear and look for scar tissue or tears on rotator cuff that may not have been seen on MRI.

It seems like others get help with these issues...why do I keep getting turned away?

I would insist on a MRI again, you should not have to live with that kind of pain. You can insist on seeing the actual doctor. If he is good as his reputation he will do something to help you. Good luck keep us posted.
