I live with the same things as you, every Day.   I try and block it out and keep as busy as this condition will allow. Eventually the Dr. Put me on a low doze of  beta blocker, don't think you are allow to say the name on this site. Good Luck.

Do you feel in in the mornings too when u trying to sleep or go back to sleep..Beta Blocker is that for highblood ? Whats it for?

Beta blockers are usually given to people with high blood pressure. I started getting palpitations (rapid heart beats) when I first started menopause. But they disappeared after a while. I do watch my diet and avoid caffeine and I don't have much alcohol which can make your heart beat faster.

There are many weird symptoms that people get going thru menopause. Some are stranger than others and many women have only heard of hot flashes so that's all they think there is. I had that nervous feeling for about 6 months and then got it occasionally after that. Now 5 years later it is gone. Thank God. I also got dry eyes, burning in my hands and feet, eletric shocks in my back. And, wouldn't you believe NO HOT Flashes at all. Go figure. There is a good website called something like The 34 signs of Menopause. Google that. You will get thru this but how long you will have it is anyone's guess.

I had the rapid heart beat situation  right before menopause. They gave me beta blockers but really, I don't think the Dr. had any idea it was hormonal.  Found out I was allergic to them as broke out in a rash from 2 different ones. I just gave up. They came in episodes and eventually they went away.
