Neurological Physiotherapy

Hi All

Had my first session with the neurological physiotherapists yesterday . They did a full assessment as I have been in hospital through having another relapse since being referred to them. They are lovely kind and patient. As with my memory being not so good. I couldn't remember alot if things they needed to know. Thankfully my partner was home to help. They will be coming to my home every few weeks to help with exercises in hope it will enable me to have better balance. They are arranging for a occupational therapist to call in regards to having aids and adaptions fitted to make things easier and safer for me. Which will be a godsend. My partner will then not worry as much as she does about me when she's at work. They also explained a bit more about the medication my MS nurse has arranged for me to try. Which will hopefully help with the fatigue I suffer with.

I also see my neurologist consultant on Friday and will get results from the lumber puncture. And will discuss how my MS has gotten worse since my diagnosis last November. And any disease modifying medication he will put me on.

All of these will be used as new evidence for my pending tribunal. I'll keep you up to date of how I'm getting on.

Thank you Sukes. This is going to be a rough ride. But ready to give it all I've got.
