Neurological problems but normal test, what is happening to me?

I' m a 36 year old female, my medical history is at the end. I don’t have high blood pressure, have a healthy diet that includes mostly a variety of seafood, fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans, tofu and limited fried food. Probably eat poultry once every four months and only eat red meat when pregnant, the last time was 2016. I eat fiber gummies, iron supplements and a daily vitamin. Still working on water intake but probably 60 ounces on average. I use to be an active person, light weight lifting, biking, jogging, walking, driving an hour to visit family and running around with my children. The past few months, my activities have become limited.

2021

Since January I noticed memory gaps, brain fog, loss of words, using the wrong words (blowl instead of bowl) and I can read something and not recall the details. I have to read the same line several times and there are moments that I can’t make a plan in my head or do mental math, feels as if my brain is stuck. Also, realized I’m bumping into things and dropping items a lot.

I recall in March my upper back constantly aching no matter what I tried, then the first week of April I started having burning in my spine, my back was sore and a week later my legs started to feel fatigued walking up a flight of stairs. By the middle of April I experienced pins and needles in my limbs, when I ran up a flight of stairs or exert myself my face also tingled. My left eyelid also started drooping randomly or getting stuck in a spasm. One night my whole body ached so I took a bath, when I got out, my lower body was radiating, the only relief was a cool towel. There were days my whole body would burn to include limbs, neck, chest, spine and shoulders. Since May the burning is not as often, but will randomly occur along my neck, chest, sides of lower legs, forearms or sole of feet. Feels as if I’ve regained some energy and my eyelid spasms have decreased. However, the tingling sensation in my legs is daily and if I use my arms for more than twenty minutes, my hands and forearms burn/ tingle and feel as if I’ve been lifting weights. My thighs ache if I am doing light housework for a short time. My days now include several resting breaks and naps.

All blood work, neurological test and MRIs have come back normal with the exception of a compressed cervical disc that my neurologist and spine specialist said would not be the source for all my symptoms. The neurologist literally said it is either psychological, not detectable yet or he can treat me empirically for fibromyalgia. He thought it was myasthenia gravis but the markers were not detected. Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?

Recent Stressors, my sister has been in and out of the hospital since March and one year anniversary of my mother and great grandmother’s deaths.

Functional neurological disorder perhaps. I have similar symptoms over 2 years now and then started having sudden non stop seizures , went to the E..R and they did similar tests to yours with no abnormal results that could indicate my symptoms. I would check out neurosymptoms dot org. I had clusters of weird symptoms and didn't realise it was all pointing towards this.

Have they checked you for Endometriosis because that can cause nasty pain and adhesions.

I'm not a dr or anything, just experienced similar symptoms to you.

I know you posted this a while back. Hope your condition has improved by now, and you will get the proper support you need to recover.
