Never having a wax again!

So I was going on holiday with my boyfriend and thought it would be a good idea to get a Hollywood wax before hand to make my life easier. I had it two days before I went and was very very painful. Eventually the pain went and off on holiday I went everything was fine. A week into my holiday I started going to the toilet a lot and wasn't sure whether it wa S just because I was drinking a lot. My vagina lips then started to become very sore and I wasn't sure why. After a few days I then started to notice red bumps there instead and got very concerned. I wasn't sure what it was as I have never had a yeast infection etc before. I went to see a doctor over there and she gave me antibiotics and pain killers to help with it thinking it was a bacterial infection. I then had a bad reaction to what ever she gave me and she gave me some different ones. These did not work either so when I came home, I saw a doctor here and they said it could be folliculitis. I am now on antibiotics and nothing has changed it has just got worse. I can't even walk so I went to the doctors again and they said it looked like herpes but I didn't have any other symptoms nor is it inside my vagina it is just on the outside, I do not feel tired or have flu symptoms etc. But I don't really know where to go from here as it is just getting worse and worse and is making my like very difficult and embarrassing.

    I don't know what to call it ..

    I had an similar issue .

    I thought mine was a chemical burn..

    But it's possible you had it before and it was just suppressed / low and when you got irritated it came out ..

    I had the same thing happen to me .

    You having discharge or something ?

    Pain during urination or anything like that ?

      I have no discharge at all and no pain when I pee either it is just very very sore on the outside

      Girl I don't know ...

      Doesn't really sound like an outbreak . At all .

      your first breakout is usually the worst .

      Did you get a test done ?

      It really looks like it though! But then it's just so weird how I had a waxing and then it came! Yes but it is very very bad!!

      I have had three doctors look and can't diagnose they just said it may look like it but I'm going to the hospital tomorrow to get a full check

      What is your situation?

      Well I thought I had a nair chemical burn & it turned out to be herpes ..

      The person that infected me never once told me they had it and then when I approached them about it they tried to flip the script and make it seem like I gave it to them even though before this I never even once had a yeast infection ..

      It is stressful but I can say the things that are the main causes of an outbreak I haven't had any issues with yet . Although I think I might be going through one now because the inside of my vagina hurts but oddly there are no bumps there .. I don't know if it's a cut or what it's a little painful to the touch but it's fine to deal with

      When was the last time you had sex? Is your partner clear from that ?

      It's just best that you get a swab test that's the number one correct results .. And what you know can't harm you too much

      Had the same thing happen to me , but instead i shaved , & all these bumps started developing & it was so painful to where i couldnt walk , went to my obgyn and she told me it was hsv2 & of course i tested positive what an awful feeling to have.

    Just get it swabbed for herpes or whatever else to put an end to the worry and speculation. Surely you must have been swabbed during these many doctor visits? Pcr swab is best for herpes, especially since it's been like that for a while now, so not new. Fyi, herpes doesn't always cause flu-like symptoms and lesions are mostly observed externally.

      P.S. If you already unknowingly had herpes from before, waxing can trigger an outbreak, as it is traumatizing to the skin.

      YES ! That's exactly what I was trying to say !!

      I had used nair and as soon as that happened I broke out and things went from there which makes me wonder how long I had it before ..

      Ahh it's all just been a nightmare and I want to be back to normal now!! Yes all three haven't done swabs as the were confused how I could have it as I have only been with two people in the last four years and neither of them have ever had symptoms sad u can't find anywhere that has the facilities to swab me!
