Nevro HF10 battery to Medtronic leads

Posted , 1 user is following.

I have had Medtronic Spinal cord Stimulator for neuropathy in feet and legs with excellent coverage since 2007.

i have developed severe DJD in spinal cord .Back pain been severe increase in last couple years.Nevro rep looked at my CT said changing the battery only to nedtronic leads will help reach my back pain.NEVRO will then take over.

I was told 6 months ago by a university neurosurgeon that the leads are yoo high yo reach the back.I said if i have to choose relief it has to be the feet and legs over the back you can always get off your feet.Has technology developed/ upgraded in the last 6 months to allow the HF 10 to manage the back the legs the feet by a battery change? I am still researching options and may try ablation girst, meet with medtronic rep Obviously spesking with pain mgmt Dr first .

thoughts/ advice welcome.i am s retired disabled RN 64 years old. I petsit for exercise.

Thank you.
