Nevro HF10 implant. Battery Burn

Posted , 1 user is following.

hello my name is Bill and i have had the Nevro HF10 implant since 12/2018 the 1st battery was to big and needed to be removed and Nevro had just come out with a new, smaller battery in 2/2019 and i had it implanted in my abdomen. after surgical recovery everything was great! i was back to normal activity, running lifting weights, playing golf, you name it! Until 6/2020 when i was on my normal 3-5 mile run and i felt really hot, as i always am as i exert myself quite a bit as an avid runner in the past, BUT i continued to feel really hot even in the shower as i got out of the shower my wife said "Bill whats wrong with your stomach? i looked down and it appeared as if someone took an IRON and placed it right over my battery!!! Freaking out, called Surgeon saw him that am and they took the battery out, after rulling out an infection The Nevro rep actually left me a message referring to the site as a BURN, though when i saw the Surgeon the say after this happened she was there in exam room and said" ive reached out to our company and to my reps and no one has seen anything like this before!! But a week later leaves me a message referring to it as " Hows that burn site doing!?? WTF!! it was taken out in 7/2020 and still w/o and IN CONSTANT PAIN!Just so your all aware i am trying to find an Attorney to take on the case in Philadelphia and having challenges! Any help would be appreciated with that. As a warning on doing research on my own there's something called EMI ( Electric Magnetic Interference) if your exposed to high power lines above you, or bellow ground EMI can cause serious BURNS OR DEATH!!!AND THE FDA is aware and has still approved the use of these stimulators if anyone would like to reach out and discuss further please do! i wish those that have a HF10 that their doing ok and word of caution for those thinking about it!

stay safe!! Bill
